| RG6/SATDS on a reel The "F" plugs that we stock have been carefully selected to match the cable that we supply (silicone grease should be applied). So the RG6FPLUG is for our RG6/SATDS cable, which is very soft and requires a fractionally tighter fit. The H109FPLUG was originally for CT100 cable. That is no longer manufactured and was superseded by H109F cable then by WC100, which is also obsolete. (Check HERE - we may still have some WC100 left.) The WF1FPLUG is for WF100 and TX100 cable, which is foam-filled and requires the slackest fitting. So the internal thread of this plug is the widest diameter of the three. The difference in internal diameter is a fraction of a millimetre and difficult to see or to measure, but it IS important. We know of no other supplier which bothers to ensure that the plug fits the cable. If you are in any doubt, please order all three and try them. They aren't exactly expensive! (Unfortunately, we can't advise which plug fits other suppliers' cables.) We also offer cables cut to standard lengths. Click HERE to see cable extension/repair joint kits. LOW COST COAXIAL CABLE type SATDS (similar to RG6) on reels RG6 double-screened cable with aluminium foil shield is more than adequate for short runs indoors. It combines flexibility with low cost and comes in black, brown or white. Air-spaced dielectric. We don't recommend RG6/SATDS for outdoor use in the UK because it has an aluminium foil screen under copper braid and this combination corrodes rapidly in the presence of moisture. Not available in "twin" or "shotgun". For outdoor cable or more colours, see WF100 cable, below. Or as low as 25p per cut metre (maximum cut length = 30 metres due to weight and handling). Click HERE for cut lengths page. Note: shield is solid aluminium NOT inferior metalised plastic film. We sell only DOUBLE-SHIELDED cable. Suitable for digital or analogue, satellite dish or terrestrial aerial. Image shows EN50117 specification CT100 / H109/ WC100 / PF100 / FT100 cable (air spaced dielectric with copper braid on copper foil). Note: this type of air-spaced copper-on-copper cable is obsolete. This cable is what Sky used for digital satellite installation. They are electrically identical. However, for a few pennies extra, WF100 is better still (scroll down). WC100 is obsolete - limited quantity left in stock - click HERE for the "bargains" page. PLEASE READ NOTES BEFORE ORDERING CABLE - CLICK HERE EN50117 specification cable. Download data sheet. (Also available in "twin" or "shotgun" style. Scroll further down for that type.) * We may supply Triax TX100 instead of WF100. TX100 is a direct equivalent and usually slightly dearer but we will not charge extra. *Note. Our 50m cable is actually HYC100 which is made by Hycom cables in China. It is the same spec. as Webro WF100, Raydex CT100, Triax TX100 etc. It is clearly marked with the CAI Stamp. (Scroll down if you need cut lengths.) (You can paint it. Available in cut lengths below) REEL TWIN "Shotgun" twin coaxial cable. CT63 specification, white or black only (WF65 by WEBRO). "Shotgun" WF65 has significant losses at LNB frequencies (hence my recommendation to limit runs to about 20 metres) but its losses at UHF frequencies are much lower. At only 4 mm diameter, "shotgun" is a convenient and unobtrusive cable to use for indoor runs. If you need to run only one cable, simply pull it apart. WARNING! WF65 has a thinner central core wire than standard coaxial cable. If the LNB or tuner connector that you will plug it in to has been used with a thicker cable previously, its contacts may have sprung apart and might not make reliable contact with WF65. Copper screened 75p per metre (maximum cut 20 metres due to weight, handling and signal loss) or SPECIAL "F" CONNECTORS NEEDED! See our COAXIAL CABLE SPECIFICATIONS page. CT63 / WF65 shotgun cable TWIN Choose WHITE or BLACK below. *We do not fit the rubber boots. See more info. (CT125 equivalent) black, foam-filled, low-loss. (Foam dielectric for better outdoor endurance with copper braid on copper foil). This cable is essential to minimise signal loss on runs of 40 metres or more. IMPORTANT: This cable is stiff and should not be connected directly to your satellite receiver because it could put excessive strain on the input connector. We recommend using a short length of WC100/WF100 or one of our "dish extension cables" (see above). Please note that our rubber boots will not fit on WF125 cable or its WF125PLUG 'F' connectors. Silicone grease must be used with the large WF125PLUG 'F' connectors. Very low loss. See cable specifications. (NOT available in "twin" or "shotgun" style.) Threaded (twist-on) F plug with reduction pin insert and insulator for very low-loss WF125 cable or CT125*. Note: Our rubber boot will not fit over this connector. Please use self-amalgamating tape to seal it if used outdoors. Silicone grease must be used when assembling this plug kit. Kit comprises plug body, plastic insert and pin. A link to your comprehensive assembly instructions will be provided in your "Keep-me" email order confirmation message. 14 mm CLIP for WF100 twin coaxial cable in boxes of 100 9 mm CLIP for "Shotgun" WF65 twin coaxial cable Black cable clip with nail.
