| FAQ: "Why can't you simply give us your email address? Answer: we used to do that but it resulted in a lot of "spam", causing some enquiries to be deleted by mistake. In addition, customers would often email a staff member who was away so the reply would be delayed by days or even weeks. By using the current system, we can guarantee that your message will be seen by more than one staff member, so a response is guaranteed, provided that you supply a reliable, working email address. FAQ: "Why can't we phone you? Answer: Telephone calls cost money and take up too much time. You, or we, will often not have all the information to hand. Notes get scribbled on pieces of paper, which get lost, so nobody knows what's going on. You CAN phone us via the number on your paper invoice if you feel it's really necessary. However, we can't answer technical questions by 'phone and we accept no responsibility for mistakes or misunderstandings, which result from a 'phone call. If you 'phone to complain, we will hang up. Complaints and requests for corrective action MUST be put in writing, please. |
