| Nearly all multiswitches now require a QUATTRO LNB to be fitted to the dish. The Vision multiswitches are mains powered and are suitable only for installation indoors in a dry environment, such as a well-ventilated loft area. (It gets hot so please mount it on a wall or suitable support). It uses 'F' type screw connectors as described HERE. We recommend WF100 cable HERE. |

| No instructions or accessories are supplied. It is assumed that the person installing will understand how to connect the unit but, briefly: A Quattro LNB is used. Please connect its outputs to the correspondingly labelled LNB inputs on the multiswitch, marked with coloured triangles. We can supply WF100 cable in the appropriate colours. A terrestrial aerial can be connected to the "IN terr." input. This input supplies 12 volts so it will provide power to a masthead amplifier, if used, and the green LED will light. If an amplifier is not used, the power will shut off automatically if it detects a short-circuit (which most aerials present). If a terrestrial aerial is connected, all 8 outputs should be connected via diplex (decombiner) wall plates, such as our Labgear PSW132 (or equivalent). A Radio aerial may also be connected. To do this, you will need a V24-310 FM+DAB+UHF triplexer. It is important that all aerials provide roughly equal signal levels, in order to minimise the risk of interference. Note that the V24-310 will allow power to pass from the Multiswitch to the UHF TV masthead amplifier (if fitted). |
