Remote Doubler

You can use one remote control to operate two Sky Digiboxes independently in the same room like this.

Locate and blank off the infrared sensor behind the front panel of BOTH Sky Digiboxes.*

(If you don't want to control the Digiboxes from any other room then you do not need the T120 amplifiers).

Connect each "RF Output 2" to a SkyLink Compatible amplified splitter (e.g.. a Global T120). Connect one output of each amplifier to a 38013 A/B switch which needs "F" plugs. Or our Aerial switch (but make sure the IEC plugs are soldered). Connect the switch to a "magic eye".

See our catalogue pages for these products.

You can now use the A/B switch to select which Sky Digibox you wish to control.

*Locate the position of the sensor by holding a large piece of opaque material over the front panel and pressing a button on the remote. Move the material around until you can estimate the position and size required. Fit black PVC tape over the panel in the required position.

A better method is to remove the cover and front panel and fit a piece of card directly in front of the sensor - or disconnect it electrically.
